Stella Stinnett was born in Portland, Oregon. Both of her parents were immersed in the show jumping business. She was 2 years old when her family moved to the east coast, so her recollections of the horses are mostly at Hunterdon and not Heathman Farm, until now! Stella began riding at a local barn when she was 5 years old because she had expressed an interest in horses. Living on a farm, and with her parents liking to the industry gave her a lot of drive to be in the saddle. When her mother Thea is not teaching her, Stella rides with top professionals in the industry that her parents are friends with, getting the finishing touches that took so long for her parents to develop. When not training at home, you can find Stella on the circuit competing in the amateur jumper ring and occasionally the hunters. She loves and is great at developing young horses and has a few sales horses as her personal passion and projects. She is very dedicated to her riding and is currently studying to become a real estate professional in Wellington Florida where she spends about 7-8 months of the year. Heathman Farm is a family business that her whole family participates in, and Stella enjoys the quality time that she spends with her family while doing this.
